From Mayfair to Notting Hill: 5 London Restaurants Worth Booking This Week

Looking for the best restaurants in London this week? From sky-high Pan-Asian dining in Mayfair to handmade pasta in Notting Hill and a newly refurbished Fulham pub, the capital’s food scene is packed with exciting places to book right now.

Whether you’re planning a date night, Sunday roast or catch-up dinner, these five standout spots should be firmly on your radar.

1. The White Horse, A Reopened Fulham Pub Classic

The Lowdown: One of Fulham’s most famous pubs has had a glow-up. Known locally as “The Sloaney Pony,” The White Horse in Parsons Green has reopened following a full refurbishment, complete with a refreshed pub interior, upgraded dining space and revamped garden.

It’s still the same lively Victorian boozer Londoners love — just sharper, brighter and better for long lunches or late-night pints.

What to Eat: To start, diners can enjoy dishes such as beef tartare served with cured egg yolk and sourdough toast, a classic king prawn cocktail, or whipped goat’s cheese paired with beetroot carpaccio. For mains, the menu leans towards elevated pub favourites, including brick chicken with lemon, garlic and chive butter sauce and pan-roasted fillet of cod served with Roscoff onion purée and artichoke and truffle pesto. The grill section is also a highlight, offering a selection of British and Irish steaks, including daily changing aged cuts and larger sharing steaks listed on the specials board.

2. TOZI Restaurant & Bar, Italian Cicchetti and a Tableside Negroni Trolley

The Lowdown: If you’re after one of London’s best Italian sharing restaurants, TOZI in Victoria is always a good call. The Venetian-style cicchetti restaurant specialises in elegant small plates designed for sharing — ideal for long, sociable dinners. The standout feature? A Negroni trolley prepared tableside, offering eight different riffs on the classic Italian cocktail.

What to Eat: The food menu centres around cicchetti, or small plates designed to be shared across the table. Highlights include truffle ravioli, tuna tartare with chilli and lime, and octopus served with chickpea purée. For something more substantial, the lobster linguine and aubergine parmigiana are popular choices. To finish, guests can indulge in desserts such as a rich pistachio tiramisu or a fig and almond tart topped with vanilla ice cream.

It’s the perfect spot for golden hour when the skyline shifts from sunset glow to glittering city lights. The menu takes classic Asian dishes and gives them a luxury, high-end twist.

What to Eat: Signature dishes include the indulgent Wagyu Sando, which is known for its rich flavour and delicate texture. Another standout is the restaurant’s decadent duck served with caviar and foie gras. The Lowdown: If you’re craving authentic Italian pasta in London, Via Emilia is the place. Inspired by the Emilia-Romagna region — widely considered the food capital of Italy — the menu focuses on handmade egg pasta. There are just nine pasta dishes, each representing a different corner of the region.

What to Eat: A must-try starter is the restaurant’s signature Gnocco Fritto, a traditional lightly fried bread that is served with a selection of cured Emilian meats including prosciutto, mortadella and pancetta, alongside regional cheeses such as Parmigiano from Parma and Caciotta from Ravenna. The dish is traditionally eaten with your hands, making it both an authentic and interactive dining experience.
