Fari Islands Festival 2026 at Patina Maldives and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives

Luxury, wellness, gastronomy and culture converge in the Maldives as the Fari Islands Festival returns from 13 to 15 August 2026, with Academy Award nominee Rosamund Pike leading an extraordinary programme of experiences.

The Maldives is set to host one of the most exciting luxury lifestyle events of 2026 as the Fari Islands Festival returns for its highly anticipated second edition from 13 to 15 August. Taking place across Patina Maldives, Fari Islands and The Ritz Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, this immersive three day celebration promises an unforgettable blend of wellness, world class dining, music, art and sustainability under the theme “One Festival, Every Sense.”

Headlining this year’s festival is acclaimed actress and humanitarian Rosamund Pike, whose involvement extends far beyond a celebrity appearance. Having helped shape the festival programme, Pike will guide guests through a series of thought provoking conversations and experiences centred on creativity, wellbeing and meaningful human connection.

Rosamund Pike

Known for acclaimed performances in Gone Girl and Saltburn, Rosamund Pike will play a central role throughout the festival. Before the official opening, she will host an exclusive charity dinner in her capacity as Ambassador for MAG (Mines Advisory Group), the humanitarian organisation dedicated to clearing landmines and unexploded ordnance from conflict zones around the world.Festival guests will also have the opportunity to attend Pike’s intimate talk on creative expression, where she explores the many roles people play both professionally and personally, drawing parallels between acting and everyday life.

Wellness also takes centre stage with Pike leading a guided meditation in collaboration with Lumenate, introducing participants to the innovative Nova light therapy mask, designed to encourage relaxation, insight and mental clarity. For a more hands on cultural experience, guests can also join Pike for a traditional Maldivian cooking class at Kandu, Patina Maldives’ newly launched restaurant.

Reflecting on her return to the islands, Pike says the festival is designed to help guests disconnect from the digital world, reconnect with themselves and embrace meaningful conversations that inspire creativity and personal growth.

Culinary and Creative Talent

While Rosamund Pike may be the headline attraction, the Fari Islands Festival 2026 features an exceptional roster of internationally renowned chefs, musicians, designers and wellness experts.

Fashion and sneaker designer Sean Wotherspoon, celebrated for his iconic Nike Air Max 1/97 collaboration and his commitment to sustainability, will create a collaborative art installation while also designing the festival’s exclusive merchandise collection.

Music lovers can look forward to a memorable closing performance by celebrated French musician and producer Sébastian Tellier, whose live piano concert will bring the festival to a spectacular conclusion.

The culinary programme is equally impressive. Michelin starred chef Samuel Lee, founder of Parisian neo bistro SENsation, will showcase his distinctive blend of refined Cantonese cuisine and contemporary French techniques across several exclusive dining events.

Adding further excitement is WAGYUMAFIA, the internationally renowned Tokyo dining collective famous for elevating Japanese Wagyu through exclusive omakase experiences. Guests can also enjoy innovative cocktail experiences created by Dry Wave Cocktail Studio, recently ranked among Asia’s 50 Best Bars, in partnership with premium whiskey brand Michter’s.

Luxury spirits expert Danilo Pozone, Global Brand Manager of Sei Bellissimi and official partner of The World’s 50 Best Hotels, will host curated tastings and immersive cocktail experiences throughout the festival.

Wellness Meets Island Living

Wellness remains one of the defining pillars of the Fari Islands Festival.

Returning as the official wellness partner, Bamford will offer a comprehensive programme led by wellness specialists CJ Jones Leake and Stephanie Waxberg. Guests can participate in guided movement sessions, nutritional workshops and exclusive spa treatments available at both Patina Maldives and The Ritz Carlton Maldives.

The carefully curated schedule reflects the festival’s philosophy of moving naturally through each day, from mindful mornings and inspiring afternoon discussions to vibrant evening gatherings and live performances beneath the Maldivian stars.

Celebrating Nature, Sustainability and Connection

More than a luxury festival, the Fari Islands Festival celebrates the unique environment that surrounds it.

Set within the pristine North Malé Atoll, both Patina Maldives and The Ritz Carlton Maldives are recognised for their commitment to marine conservation, sustainable hospitality and meaningful guest experiences. Throughout the festival, visitors can engage with initiatives that highlight the importance of protecting the Maldives’ delicate marine ecosystem while embracing a slower, more mindful approach to travel.

Festival organisers believe this seamless integration of luxury, sustainability and cultural programming is what sets the event apart from traditional destination festivals.

Oscar Postma, General Manager of The Ritz Carlton Maldives, says the inaugural festival demonstrated the potential of bringing together world class talent in one extraordinary island destination, while this year’s expanded programme promises even greater culinary, artistic and wellness experiences.

Anthony Gill, General Manager of Patina Maldives, adds that the festival continues to push creative boundaries while remaining deeply connected to the natural beauty and local culture of the Fari Islands.
