It’s that time of year again: National Burger Day. On Thursday 27 August, London’s restaurants and burger joints will be pulling out all the stops, with everything from juicy smash burgers and dry-aged beef to Wagyu patties, fried chicken creations and seriously indulgent toppings. There’ll be plenty of one-day-only specials, limited-edition burgers and tasty deals to get stuck into, too. Here are the National Burger Day 2026 happenings we’re loving in London this year:
1. For Creamy Mac with your Burger: Madisons

The Lowdown: If your idea of a burger involves maximum indulgence, Madison’s The Big M is one to put firmly on the list. This decadent creation takes the humble burger and gives it a distinctly luxurious makeover, pairing a beef burger patty with braised beef, creamy mac and cheese, gherkin, beef tomato and baby gem, all tucked into a soft brioche bun.
It’s rich, messy and unapologetically excessive – essentially comfort food turned all the way up. The burger comes served with chips, making this one for those who believe that when it comes to National Burger Day, more is definitely more.
