Nômade Temple Madrid: New Luxury Hotel Opening March 2026

Madrid is a city that moves fast. With lots of Luxury Hotels, late night dinners to packed cultural calendars and streets that stay busy long after midnight, it’s not exactly known for slowing down. But in late March 2026, a new opening is set to bring something different to the Spanish capital.

Nômade Temple Madrid will officially open its doors in late March 2026, marking the Nômade brand’s first European destination. After building a loyal following with its two existing properties in Tulum and Holbox, the brand is now bringing its philosophy of celebratory healing, cultural immersion and shared experience right into the heart of Madrid.

Set inside the restored historic 20th century Las Letras building on Gran Vía, Nômade Temple Madrid introduces a new kind of hospitality language to the city. This is not a place designed around traditional hotel expectations. Instead, it’s built around emotion, movement and connection. Think of it as a sanctuary within the city’s constant rhythm, where locals and travellers meet through gastronomy, wellness, music and culture.

Luxury Hotel

The brand prefers the word Temple over hotel, and the concept leans into that idea fully. It’s a living stage designed to awaken the senses, encourage curiosity and leave guests feeling changed long after they check out.

Rest

Nômade Temple Madrid will have 93 rooms, including two standout Penthouses. The design balances the building’s historic architecture with bohemian and eclectic touches, creating interiors that feel layered, expressive and full of personality.

Each room is designed as a true place of rest within the movement of the city. Expect a quieter, more grounded atmosphere that encourages guests to disconnect from routine and reconnect with themselves and their surroundings. Whether you’re in Madrid for a long weekend or a longer stay, it’s the kind of space that makes slowing down feel effortless.

Nourishment

Food and drink at Nômade Temple Madrid are positioned as social rituals, with each space offering a different pace and mood throughout the day.

The Main Restaurant is the heart of the culinary experience, seating up to 112 guests. An open kitchen anchors the space, drawing diners into the energy of the room. The interiors are warm and immersive, with natural stone, aged brass, layered textiles, fire elements and eclectic furniture creating a setting that feels intimate even at scale. The concept and cuisine tell a bold story that moves between Italy, Uruguay and Madrid, designed for flavour, sharing and conversation.

For something more casual, guests can head to Café and Almacén. Inspired by traditional Spanish bodegones and almacenes, this intimate space accommodates around 27 guests and is designed as an informal gathering point. Expect wood, ceramics, tapas and easy conversation, with a focus on turning simple eating and drinking into something communal and memorable.

One of the biggest highlights of the property is the Rooftop Bar and Pool. This lush rooftop garden overlooks the Madrid skyline and offers one of the best views in the city from Gran Vía. Natural fabrics, handcrafted details and a warm colour palette set the scene for relaxed afternoons and golden hour evenings. The menu is inspired by Eastern Mediterranean flavours, featuring best in class selections, dips, small plates, cocktails and sharing jars.

Craft and Focus

For guests combining work and travel, Nômade Temple Madrid includes a flexible dual purpose space designed to host both early mornings and focused afternoons. It blends breakfast service with co working, supported by adaptable furniture, exposed original building elements and plenty of natural light. It’s a thoughtful addition for anyone looking for a working vacation without sacrificing the feeling of escape.

The Pulse

Nômade Temple Madrid is also set to make a mark on the city’s nightlife scene. The Speakeasy and Nightclub explore duality, shifting from an intimate space for conversation, vinyl sound and low light during the day and early evening, into a vibrant environment defined by rhythm, movement and collective energy by night. It’s designed to feel like part of the city rather than separate from it, offering a nightlife experience that matches Madrid’s natural pace.

Restoration

Wellbeing at Nômade Temple Madrid is rooted in balance rather than performance. The GÖN House of Healing spa is located in the basement and blends modern therapies with ancestral practices, offering both individual and collective healing experiences. Facilities include a hammam, sauna, steam bath, cryotherapy and private treatment cabins. The space is calm and immersive, with light stucco surfaces, nuanced ceramics and a restrained material palette designed to restore both emotional and physical equilibrium.

For those wanting to keep up their training routine, The Gym is available to all guests. Natural light, tactile finishes and sleek modern equipment make it feel considered and elevated, while also supporting longer activities connected to the adjacent Monopol space.

Monopol is a 300 square metre open and adaptable space dedicated to performances, installations and cultural interventions. Designed to host multiple disciplines and creative expressions, it acts as a platform for artists and a space for experimentation and exchange. All classes and events are complimentary for in house guests, making it a major part of the overall experience rather than an added extra.

Cultural Programming

Nômade Temple Madrid is designed as much for locals as it is for travellers. It’s a living hub where people connect through layered spaces, shared experiences and a carefully curated programme tailored to Madrid. Rooted in the brand’s philosophy of celebratory healing, each experience is designed to complement the guest journey, inviting visitors to arrive curious and leave changed, carrying with them not only memories but a renewed sense of connection to the city and to themselves. A Private Membership Club further anchors the property within the local community while presenting it to a global audience, offering access to hotel amenities, bespoke events and culturally driven programming across the brand.

Nômade Temple Madrid is located at Calle Gran Vía, 28013 Madrid, Spain. Rooms start from €417 per night.
